ONE WEEK AROUND LEBANON

Day (1) - Beirut
Meet and assist at Beirurt Int’l Airport, transfer to Hotel, Overnight.

Day (2) - Beirut - The Cedars - Becharre - Tripoli.
Visit Beirut, Lebanon’s chief city and capital which was given the epithet of "Bride of the Middle East". You will enjoy a city of love to discover the astonishing corniche, pigeon’s grotto, the Beirut archeological museum, the Grand Mosque, the Martyrs Place then continue to the famous cedars area to visit the forest. Continue to Ehden . Overnight.

Day (3) - Tripoli - Byblos - Beirut
Visit Tripoli, Lebanon’s second city located in the north. You will visit the old mina ( harbour), the St. Gilles Castles, then continue to Byblos, the oldest harbour in the world, which is full of history where the christian religion is dominating by the crusaders passages and their building of a cathedral in XIIth century. Visit the Arheological site where around the acropolis you will admire traces of all periods since the neolithic times. You will discover the port where St. Paul embarked to Greece. Continue to Beirut for overnight.

Day (4)- Bierut - Tyr - Sidon - Beirut
Departure to Tyr, the richest and the only ruins having a visible link with the mission of Jesus. Tyr, the queen of the Pheonician coast, is the city of Jerusalem’s Temple builderes, the city of Hiram and of Jezebel. Visit the crsdafer castles of the sea, the St. Louis Castle, the souks. Return to Beirut for overnight.

Day (5) - Beirut - Beiteddine - Bekka Plain.
Departure then to the Chouf area. Visit of the place of Beiteddine, an eighteenth century Arabian nights type retreat. You will admire graceful arcades, ornate ceiling, rich marbel mosaics, tinkling fountains and beutifully panelled rooms. Continue to the Bekkak Valley for overnight.

Day (6) - Baalbeck - Anjar - Beirut
Departure then to Baalbeck, located in the heart of Bekka Plain. The Pheonicians built there the Baal Temple to glorify the God of the Sun. The structure of the Pheonician temple was modified by the Romans.

Continue to Chatura, a typical Lebanes Town, and then visit anjar in the afternoon. In Anjar, you will enjoy the VIIth Century Omayyad City which was built as the summer residence of the sixth Omayyad Caliph. Return to Bierut for overnight.

Day (7) - Bierut
Transfer to Airport for departure.

Day 1: DAMASCUS
Arrival at Damascus Airport. Meet and assistant. Transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 2: DAMASCUS
Breakfast. Full day tour in Damascus, including The National Museum, Azem Palace, Ummayyad Mosque, Chapel of St. Anania, St. Paul's Window and a panoramic view of Damascus. Back to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: DAMASCUS - LEBANON (AANJAR - BEQAA - BEIRUT)
Drive to Lebanon. Meet and assistant at the border proceed to Aanjar for visit, proceed through Beqaa plain towards Baalbeck, drive to Ksara Caves for wine tasting and then drive to Beirut for overnight.

Day 4: BEIRUT
Breakfast. S/S Beirut. Visit the National Museum, Persian, Roman, Byzantine, Ommayyad Sites, Pigeon's Rock, Deir El-Qamar, the Palace of Beiteddine and its museums as well as a fine collection of well-preserved Byzantine mosaics. Return for overnight.

Day 5: BYBLOS - TRIPOLI - KRAK - HOMS
Drive 20 Km north of Beirut to visit the Dog River, Byblos, Tripoli, Lebanon's second largest city, the Crusaders' Fortress of Raymond de Saint Giles. Proceed to the border. Krak Des Chevaliers, Homs. Overnight.

Day 6: HAMA - APAMEA - EBLA - ALEPPO
Breakfast. Proceed to Hama, Apamea, Ebla, St. Simeon and Aleppo. Overnight.

Day 7: ALEPPO
Breakfast, full day tour of Aleppo, including The Museum, The Citadel, The Great Mosque, Suqs and Khans. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: PALMYRA
Breakfast, in Aleppo and then drive to Palmyra. Full day tour, The Museum, The Temple of Bel, The Tombs, The Colonnaded Street, and associated public building for S/S. Overnight.

Day 9: MAALOULA - DAMASCUS
Breakfast, proceed to Maaloula, Damascus for overnight.

Day 10: Breakfast, transfer to Damascus Airport for Departure.
